Summer Reading Club

Our three Summer Reading Clubs are a fun and interactive way for kids, teens, families, and adults to include more reading in their summer. For more details on how to register and what you can expect this year see our Frequently Asked Questions, below.

Kids Summer Reading Club (Ages 5-12)

The Niagara Falls Public Library invites you to read, explore, and discover all summer long with the TD Summer Reading Club! Keep track of your reading minutes to earn points for beads. Visit the library to let us know how many minutes you've read and what you've been reading, and pick up your beads.

Every Child Ready to Read (Up to Age 5)

This reading club for readers up to age 5 is based on the five practices of Every Child Ready to Read: play, talk, write, sing, and read. Keep track of your child's reading minutes to earn points for beads. Visit the library to let us know how many minutes they've read and what they've been reading, and pick up their beads.

9 to Try (13+)

Our teen and adult 9 to Try Challenge will encourage you to read books in different categories and check out a variety of library resources over the summer. Keep track of your reading and share your favourite discoveries with us and your fellow readers, on social media and in-person. Broaden your reading horizons!
